Jury finds Deerbrook man guilty of growing marijuana at Lily plot Nov. 19, 2009 A Deerbrook man on trial for accusations linked to a marijuana find in the Lily area last fall was acquitted of one charge but found guilty of three others in Langlade County Circuit Court Wednesday.
Zackery J. Frazier, 23, is scheduled to be sentenced Feb. 2 for counts involving the manufacture of marijuana and possession of both marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
A jury ruled he was not guilty of second degree reckless endangerment of safety.

Winter coats, mittens, scarves, hats and boots can be dropped off at two area locations — the Main Attraction hair salon at 841 Fifth Ave. in Antigo and Borucki’s Grocery along located along Highway 64 at Elton.
Items will be collected from now until Dec. 5.

$10,000 cash bond set for Antigo man in heroin trafficking Nov. 17, 2009 An Antigo man alleged to have been trafficking heroin before he was stopped and arrested just south of the city limits this weekend remains jailed today on a $10,000 cash bond.
Charges were filed in Langlade County Circuit Court Monday against Justin M. Schatzer, 26, of 1303 Neva Road. Two are felonies — the possession of narcotic drugs and second degree reckless endangerment of safety — while the third, bail jumping, is a misdemeanor.

Antigo driver charged in weekend crash Nov. 17, 2009 An Antigo man is alleged to have been both drunk and “high” prior to his involvement in a weekend auto accident which put three passengers into the hospital.
Joseph B. Prince, 20, of 108 S. Hudson St. was charged in Langlade County Circuit Court Monday with three misdemeanor counts of causing injury by operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant.
