The Antigo High School Drama Club spring musical production and plenty of St. Patrick's Day fun tops the list of upcoming activities in the Northwoods.

A look at activities, taken from the advertising columns, follows:



“ANYTHING GOES” SPRING MUSICAL

The spring musical “Anything Goes” put on by the Antigo High School will have multiple showings starting tonight.

Tonight and Saturday and March 19, 20, 21 will be evening shows, starting at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday there will be a 2 p.m. showing.

All shows will be held in the Volm Theater at the Antigo High School.

Tickets are $10, for adult admission and $5, for children under 10-years-old. They may be purchased two hours before the curtains rise, all seats are reserved.



MOLE LAKE LIVE MUSIC

The Del Rays, out of Oshkosh, will be performing hits from the 50s, 60s and 70s, Saturday at the Mole Lake Casino, starting at 8 p.m. in the Windtalkers Lounge.



HUMMER'S KARAOKE

Lil' Hummer the Leprechaun at Hummer's Hideaway Bar/Grill & Campground, Highways A and TT, for Backwoods Karaoke starting at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

There will also be Irish drink specials.



SPAGHETTI DINNER

The Elk's Lodge is hosting a spaghetti dinner on Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at 622 Clermont, this dinner is all-you-can-eat spaghetti with meat sauce, salad, hot garlic bread, refreshments and ice cream for $8.



SAINT PATRICK'S DAY SPECIALS

There are dining opportunities galore for St. Patrick's Day Tuesday.

Mole Lake Casino will serve a free buffet for players from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Swartzendruber's Supper Club will serve a mix of Irish specialties, including corned beef and cabbage, bangers and mash and Reuben sandwiches. There will also be Irish drink specials.

Luigi's, which usually specializes in Italian cuisine, will turn a little bit Irish, serving up corned beef and cabbage and Reuben sandwiches all day.

How do you like your Reuben? Country Kitchen has the answer. Enjoy a Reuben sandwich, or wrap made with corned beef or turkey. A Reuben breakfast skillet is also available.

Happy St. Patrick's Day from Dixie Lunch. Stop by for corned beef and cabbage served with parsley buttered baby red potatoes. The restaurant will also be serving Reuben soup and corned beef sandwiches. Don't forget the pistachio torte for dessert.

Two Angels Family Restaurant will be offering corned beef and cabbage with boiled potatoes and a cup of soup.

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day at Fifth Avenue Restaurant and Lounge, Enjoy homemade Irish stew made with locally-produced lamb from Eckerman Sheep Co. The menu also includes corned beef and cabbage and Reuben sandwiches. There will also be Irish music.

North Star Lanes will be serving corned beef and cabbage.

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day at Farmers Home Bar and Restaurant. Corned beef and cabbage with potatoes and carrots will be served all day.

Enjoy the Luck of the Irish at bbJack's Sandwich Lounge. It will be serving corned beef and cabbage all day.



FINDING THE HOPE TOGETHER

The Bradley Funeral Home hosts a grief support group meeting that takes place the second Saturday of every month. This Saturday the community is welcome to join at the Calvary Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. to noon.



HISTORY, THE ARTS

The Langlade County Historical Society Museum is open Thursday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The complex includes the Carnegie library building, Deleglise Cabin and 440 locomotive and caboose. It is located at 404 Superior St. The society is in the midst of a major fundraising campaign to install an elevator and make other necessary and aesthetic improvements. Stop by the museum to pick up a brochure.

The White Lake Area Historical Society operates the Depot Museum and Historical Center in White Lake. Hours are Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.



MOVIES

Now showing at the Palace Twin Theater are “Disney Pixar Onward” rated PG and “The Invisible Man” rated R.
