Holiday classics, including the mischievous “Baby, It's Cold Outside,” and a medley of holiday movie tunes including “White Christmas,” will be shared at the annual holiday concert Sunday

The always-popular musical tradition will take place at 4 p.m. in the Volm Theater at Antigo High School.

The band and choir are both made up of talented, adults from throughout the area, who take the time throughout the year to practice and perform at a variety of events. It's a great opportunity to watch friends and neighbors on the big Volm stage, with professional quality entertainment.

The band, under the direction of Jeff Burdick, will offer a mix of music, including “Baby, It's Cold Outside,” made famous by everyone from Esther Williams and Ricardo Montalban to Rod Sewart and Dolly Parton.

There will also be a mix of medleys, including “The Bells of Christmas,” a riff on Jingle Bells, Carol of the Bells and Silver Bells, “Do You Hear What I Hear/Snow Bells,” and “Holiday Cheer” featuring Let It Snow, Silver Bells and Winter Wonderland.

Other tunes include “C'est Noel,” “Hey Man, Christmas Swings,” and “Grown-Up Christmas List.”

“Of Chorus!,” under the direction of Mike Werdeo, will feature the lively acapella spiritual, “There's a Light-A-Comin',” along with “The Midnight Rose,” with violin accompaniment.

“Christmas at the Movies” is a medley featuring songs from Home Alone, White Christmas, Meet Me in St. Louis and Polar Express.

The choir will also perform “Christmas Angels,” “Morning Star,” and “Sussex Carol.”

There will be a free will offering, raffle prizes and concessions at intermission with music by a swing quartet.
