Two arrested after feuds erupt at area homes
space
Family disturbances led to a pair of arrests at two rural Antigo homes Wednesday night.

A 19-year-old man was taken into custody on counts of disorderly conduct and bail jumping after sheriff’s deputies were advised of the man’s erratic behavior, including allegations that he had been yelling at several family members.

Officials said the altercation included reports that suspected drugs and paraphernalia had been found in belongings. Evidence collected at the location was sent to the Wisconsin Crime Laboratory for further investigation.

In an unrelated incident, a 39-year-old Antigo man was arrested at his home on a charge of domestic disorderly conduct. Officials said his unruly behavior was possibly brought on by intoxication.

Antigo police advise that a 15-year-old boy is being referred to juvenile corrections on charges linked to the discovery of a knife in his school locker. The charge is for having a dangerous weapon other than a firearm on school grounds. He was also ticketed for possession of tobacco.

Police on Wednesday also checked a criminal damage complaint involving a truck parked in the 1500 block of Fifth Avenue. It was struck with eggs and its back window was sprayed with paint.

A rock was also thrown through a window at the Busy Bee Daycare Center at 931 10th Ave.
