Schmidt, Elliott and Raith all bowl honor series counts Nov. 5, 2009 It was a big night for the women of the Northland Ladies league at North Star Lanes Wednesday.
Ashley Schmidt, Nancy Elliott and Nancy Raith all hurdled the 600 series mark and were among the list of eight bowlers who produced 200-plus games.
Schmidt grabbed the top spot in triples race with her 656 her third honor roll count of the 2009-10 campaign. Her best game, a 238, followed a 235 and a 183.
Elliott was second in line at 623. Opening the night with a 170 and a 194, she finished strong at 259 to claim high game status.
Raith stepped into the number three spot with her 609. Games were 235, 181 and 193.
Janet Heckert paced the evenings 500 series crowd with her 575 triple. Games were 202, 207 and 166.
Sarah Raith earned her 558 with a 184, 233 and 141. Kim Nicholson tallied a 550 by totaling games of 162, 195 and 193. Kathy Wendt posted games of 172, 182 and 176 to earn a 530 series.
Cindy Peterson and Nancy Dahlke tied at 522. Peterson posted marks of 176, 171 and 175 and Dahlke notched a 161, 202 and 159.
Rounding out the scores were Denise Schmidt, 517 with 135, 163 and 219; Melanie MacDonald, 509 with 163, 200 anfd 146; Donna Wolf, 505 with 152, 199 and 154; Rose Summ, 503 with 177, 178 and 148; and Paula Van Ooyen, 502 with 174, 177 and 151.
Kristin Mahr posted a nice-sized 235.
