Artz, Volkman and Thomae all post 200 games Nov. 3, 2009 In a quest to earn the night’s top mark, three Northern Lites league bowlers posted 200-plus games at Antigo’s North Star Lanes Monday.
Jean Artz rolled a 202, Jennie Volkman scored a 201 and Tiffany Thomae notched a 200.
With a one pin advantage, Janet Heckert claimed the series race lead with her 555. Marks were 183, 190 and 182.
Brittani Stilen finished as the runnerup with her 545. Games were 192, 159 and 194.
Volkman sat two pins back at 543. In addition to her 201, she posted games of 185 and 157.
Others hurdling 500 were Jeanne Tatro, 527 with 188, 155 and 184; Annie McCann, 522 with 171, 183 and 168; Artz, 511 with 202, 161 and 148; Ande Lenz, 507 with 184, 172 and 151; Sheila Peterson, 504 with 155, 169 and 180; and Thomae, 468 with 121, 200 and 147.
